Kim Crawford is one of those people who does it all and has you wondering to yourself 1) how does she do it and 2) how does she look so good doing it?! And while she’s juggling a busy schedule and great skin, you’re just trying to master the art of fitting in an entire Netflix season into one sitting. (Hey, Netflix makes for a great masking activity so at least we’re being productive!) Between pursuing her passion for broadway and fitness, she found time to give us the Glowdown on her skincare and beauty routine and how it is evolving along with her relationship to fitness.

What does your average day look like? Never enough coffee, always on the go. From sweat life, auditions, two jobs, coffee dates and never enough wine, I am a girl who's always on the go, and finding her way around this new city of mine. My friends would definitely say I never stop's a blessing and a curse!

When were you first introduced to Erno Laszlo and how? By Miss Erin Eastburn when I moved to NYC in the fall of 2016! She raved about their products! I love when she posts skin routines and am always looking for ways to integrate new product into my routine!

What does Erno Laszlo mean to you? Erno Laszlo means fresh, affordable (yet luxurious product) with integrity and a promise!

Tell us about your relationship with skincare. Where did it start? How has it evolved? I'm trying to establish a better relationship with skin care. I've always loved beauty products and makeup, but as I've gotten older, I've developed a stronger relationship with how I treat my skin. I've always been so keyed into fitness and nutrition, my skin is equally as important. My relationship with skincare is evolving as I actually make the time to dedicate to a routine and make smarter investments in products that will not only help my skin, but enhance my look!  I'm definitely going through a strong phase of quality over quantity.

Best beauty advice your Mom/Grandma/Aunt, etc. shared with you?Don't pop your zits! It's so true. I have hyperpigmentation because of it...if only I would've listened....

What is your skincare/beauty guilty pleasure/confession? (We won't judge!)Oh my god. Okay, I'm obsessed with Nivea's pink shimmer chapstick! It's seriously my crack. I don't know why! It gives me that bubblegum pink frosted tint that we all hate to love, but I can seriously count on it to pull through on any occasion. And, only $3.79 at Duane Reade! Like, come on...

Walk us through your typical morning and evening skincare routine. How and why does it differ on a daily basis? Typical skincare routine: cleanse, tone, tinctures, moisturizer. AM, I won't use my vitamin C tincture! PM, I will. Sometimes I only have the energy to take my makeup off, and cleanse my know, after 14 hour days!

How do you integrate your workout routine with your skincare routine? Any hacks for a post-workout glow? I try to workout before I start my day (even if it's around noon). That way I have time to properly cleanse my skin and avoid working out with makeup on. This was something I did a lot in college, and I noticed my skin breaking out more than it should because I wouldn't wash my face after I worked out--I'd just carry on with my day. Gross, yes. But I wasn't alone in that. I haven't found my post workout glow...yet! However, I always wear some sort of tint or bronzer...fake it til you make it!

Describe your standard beauty routine. How does it differ from daytime to evening?I'm pretty simple when it comes to my beauty routine. Don't get me wrong, I love makeup and skincare products, but I swear I get anxiety every time I walk into a Sephora. It's overwhelming finding products that are affordable, good quality, and that truly work for my skin. Typically in the morning I will wash my face with a gentle cleanser, and finish with a toner. Lately, I've been adding Glossier’s ’Super Pure’ skin tincture to my morning routine and a topical Vitamin C serum to my skin at night (I deal with a bit of hyperpigmentation from past skin issues). After this, I apply a balancing moisturizer, and if I'm applying more makeup for my evening job or a night out, I'll throw on a primer (Tarte). I've been applying Tarte’s clay foundation stick, followed by my liquid concealer from CoverGirl. I then set the two before applying an overall bronzer, and sometimes blush. I keep my eyes pretty simple by using my go-tos for day time, and will finish with brows. Again, if I'm going out, I'll line my eyes (cat eyes) and layer on mascara (Better than Sex from Too Faced is amaze!).

You’re stranded on a deserted island and can only bring 5 skincare/beauty products. What are they?Gosh, this is such a tough one. I'd definitely start with an SPF (but in the form of a tanning oil)...sun safety and a bonus glow. I would bring something to fill in my brows, most likely my favorite brow pencil by MAC (Lingering). I'd grab my hair straightener because there would obviously be an outlet somewhere on this island and I would need my hair to be somewhat decently styled. I'd bring a facial cleanser to wash away impurities and keep my skin fresh and clear, and lastly, I can't live without eyeliner so I'd pop that in my bag as well!

Who is your #1 beauty icon?Hmmm...this is hard because I don't just have one. Jennifer Aniston has always taken such beautiful care of her skin, and especially just through the power of water consumption. She's glowing and killing it for her age and owes a lot of it to what she puts into her body, and not just on it. Definitely a way to stay inspired by staying hydrated...a beauty hack that oftentimes gets overlooked.

You snoozed your alarm and only have time to brush your teeth and do one step in your skincare/beauty routine? What is it?I would definitely throw on a tinted moisturizer to give me enough coverage and a little bit of a glow!
