Luxurious
I am obsessed with this gel cream. I have been using it daily for a week or so and my face looks stunning. The gel is a great texture that provides excellent moisture. I love how it mattyfies my skin for a smooth, filled and look. This gel cream is also a perfect pace for my make up routine. All in all this is exactly what I would expect from this brand. Luxury in a tub.

Holy grail
I have combination skin. I have extremely dry flaky skin around nose and mouth and tend to get a bit oily on forehead and cheeks. I’ve tried multiple products that just never worked for me. I received this product for Free in exchange for my honest opinion and honestly, I’m never going back!!! I love this hydrating gel! I’ve been using it for a little over a week and have noticed a huge difference in my skin. My skin is more supple, soft and brighter. My pores around my nose are also less visible. I’ve been getting a lot more compliments on my naked skin since using this gel. What I love most about the gel is that it soaks in well! No greasy feeling, my skin doesn’t feel suffocated and heavy. It feels like nothing is there but yet my skin is super hydrated and no longer dry and flaky or oily.

Luxurious hydration
This gel cream has been so wonderful to my skin ever since the first use. It comes in a very nice appealing packaging that doesn't take up much space on my counter. You can apply this both morning and night which I love to do. When applying a very small amount is perfect and goes a long way, and it comes with a spatula for easy use. Upon applying it is so cooling and quickly absorbs into my skin . I believe I have a combination of dry skin mixed with a little dryness and this cream has been wonderfully moisturizing for me. This is a great addition to my skincare routine.

Loving Erno Laszlo Hydra Cream
I have used plenty of facial creams over the years, all having their own pro's and con's. I finally think I may have found one that has no cons, for me at least. I am talking about Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Gel Cream. It is easy to apply, is very lightweight, and feels silky smooth on my skin. After using for a few weeks, I noticed my pores actually don't stand out as much as they used to. I am also impressed with the great ingredients that are found in this facial cream. I would indeed recommend and will continue to use. Actually luminates my face as well!

Dewy skin is possible!
My skin literally drinks this gel cream. I love the feel of it in my hands and face so much. It has this gel and lotion like rich and thick consistency to it, smells amazing yet mild and goes on the skin so smoothly. Feels light on my skin, though I can feel this protection barrier that feels cool and soothing. It then absorbs so well, I was ecstatic to experience it. The best part is that it doesn’t leave you all shiny and greasy looking like other creams! You know this is a major reason why most people skip moisturizing. No more excuses ;) Drink plenty of water and protect your skin with this lovely hydrating cream. This is what self love is to me going forward, we are worth it. I was sent this for free to provide my opinion, but you have to understand I have a collection of face creams and this is what I reach for now! See for yourselves.

New product to try for me
I have a mixed review about this product. The good: light, creamy, cool and refreshing, nice scent, hydration feels great upon application, keeps skin super soft. The not so good: hydration seems to wear off after a couple of hours; while the skin still looks good, I feel a tightness. This may be because I'm getting a little long in the tooth and need more moisture (until I started using EL 32 yrs ago I was oily, oilier and oilist, with nice dry flakiness for good measure, good fun, but no more!). I put it on after my MUST of timeless skin serum, and finish with a bit of firmamine 30spf. Overall, I like it, but not sure if I love it. Still, I'll keep using it until it is gone and update my review if anything changes. My younger self would have LOVED IT and I would DEFINITELY recommend this to someone who is prone to oiliness and wants a refreshing moisturizer.

I love that this makes my skin moisturized and never greasy! Super hydrating, I apply this at night before bed, it gives a great glowing look for the next morning without making my skin look oily. I had zero break outs or reactions while using this & was so impressed with just how much improvement my skin had. The best part is it has nearly no smell, just a hint of a “clean” smell to it.

Simply Delightful
This cream day or night is simply delightful. It is easily absorbed and leaves no greasy or shining residue on your skin after almost immediately which is hard to find in a moisturizer. Is the value worth it for the price? Absolutely. It works as advertised. It works in the sense your skin looks and feels moisturized when you wake up the next day or if you put it on the morning. The smell and feel is luxurious and silky smooth. It feels really delightful when you put it on. This puts other moisturizers on alert, this is really that good.

I absolutely love the Hydra-Therapy Gel Cream. I received it as a gift for my birthday and it has easily become my new skincare favorite. The cream is a gel that is very lightweight, you don't even feel it on your skin. I have sensitive skin and many moisturizers easily cause irritation, but this one does not. It's very smooth, applies evenly and soaks into your skin immediately. It feels so amazing on my face. I feel as if I've just left the spa. This cream gives my skin a beautiful, luminous, natural glow. I've been using it daily and the results are amazing. Softer, hydrated and glowing skin. It doesn't clog my pores and it doesn't cause breakouts. My skin is in the best condition it's ever been in! I've been receiving many compliments and I always let everyone know how amazing this cream is!

My Must Have of Must Have's.....
The Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Gel Cream is the best moisturizing gel cream that I have ever used. In fact, I am getting ready to order an extra container because I do not believe I could handle any lapse of use. My skin expects it daily and I expect the benefits of using it daily. It softens and moisturizes my face dramatically and the best thing is that it NEVER, EVER leaves my face feeling oily. Just smooth and soft like it should be. One of the other fantastic attributes of the Hydra-Therapy Gel Cream is the fact that it minimizes the look of the pores. In fact, it is just amazing. Phenomenal even. I have, what I consider, to be extremely large pores around the edges of my face, especially in my cheek area and after using the Hydra-Therapy Gel Cream, the pores seemed to be half of their normal size. Some even 3/4! I would recommend this product for anyone who needs moisture but is afraid of breakouts and extra oil and those who have large pores who want a matte gel cream to help minimize the look of them. Erno Laszlo has truly made a phenomenal product in the Hydra-Therapy Gel Cream.

My Most-Recent Laszlo Discovery!
This certainly does everything that the product description says! I now use this daily, on top of my Firmarine cream in the AM. It is quickly absorbed! And the "finish" on my face IS matte. I have to admit I had doubted this claim. My liquid foundation goes on smoothly. For less formal days, I can resort to only a liquid/moist blush and look perfectly presentable. My face feels hydrated for the entire day until I remove my makeup, using the properly chosen EL cleansing
program!

Soft as a babies bottom!
The Erno Laszlo Hydra- Therapy Gel Cream is my new absolute favorite. It has become apart of my everyday routine and I would definitely purchase one after it runs out. All of Erno Laszlo’s products smell incredible and the hydra therapy gel isn’t any different. It also has my skin so so soft and even makes me glow. People ask me what highlighter I’m wearing after putting it on because i look so glowy!! I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for something super hydrating!

Good for summer
I received the moisturizer from Erno Lazlo but the review will be my own opinion. I generally enjoy using this product. It has a nice texture and does a good job of mattifying my generally oily skin. That could be really useful in the summer. It has a fragrance, but having sensitive eyes, I don't feel like the fragrance irritates that part of my face. This product would receive 5 stars but I'd like a formulation that doesn't include dimethicone or palm oil.

Replacement cream for Timeless Skin
Good for summer skin-
I am always disappointed when Erno Laszlo discontinues products - this cream is replacing Timless skin in my skincare ritual and I think its a very good product so far. It hydrates and absorbs quickly without a heavy cream feeling. Make up applies well after using cream and its perfect for summer. I will buy again before its discontinued without warning..I still miss the classic Shake It lotion - please bring back to market!!!!!

Hydrated!!!
After using this Hydra-Therapy Gel Cream, my face feels amazing. My face feels moist and it doesn’t dry out before I use this product again. It also absorbs nicely into my skin. Hydration is important to me when it comes to my face so it’s great to have a product that gives me the hydration that I need. I like that my face is ready for makeup after I apply this product. I recommend this product to anyone who battles dry face problems.

Love the condistency
This gel moisturizer feel cool on the skin as it hydrates and soften the delicate parts of ones face. It has the right consistency and its lightly scented with a soothing smell that relaxes the nerves. I love how it makes my skin feel as it does not leave it greasy and its absorbed quickly. I use it every other day just because i have acne and wouldn't want to do away with the other moisturizer i use.

My new Gel cream
I fell in love with this product I've used a lot and this is my go to gel cream now. It keeps my skin looking and feeling hydrated all day. It made my skin feel so good no more dry skin. I don't have to use a lot either just a little goes along way for my face and neck. I noticed my pores are hardly noticeable now they looked bigger before I started using. I love the look and feel of my skin now.

This product has been my saving grace. My skin has been so incredibly dry this winter and I hadn’t been able to find something to help until I started using the hydra-therapy gel cream. I love the way ERNO LASZLO makes my skin feel and look! This Hydra-Therapy cream is easy to use and comes in a perfect size container that fits perfect in my beauty bag. I have used the Hydra-Therapy Gel Cream it has refreshed my skin. It look nice and plump. It's just right for my skin it did not break my skin out. Very helpful!!
I was definitely skeptical at first. But after I put it on and tried it I’m a believer. It was easy to put on. Which I did in circular upward motion like it said. My skin seemed to instantly feel smooth and soft. I have a real issue with dry skin so I was pretty amazed. It has a pleasant smell. It’s not at all sticky. The more I use it the happier I am with it.

My face feels amazing!
After one use my face was already feeling 10 times better. I love how the cream came with an applicator. The applicator made applying the cream a whole lot easier. I loved not having to get my fingers all messy. After using the cream my face feels so refreshed. I can already tell my face is a lot smoother and looks so much cleaner then it used to.

My dream cream!!!
I’m 60 years old and have a combination complexion.
If I use a rich cream my skin breaks out, if I use a completely oil free cream my skin looks dry. This product is the solution for me! I’m so Happy!

Being over 55 now and the fact that I enjoy wearing make up, the Hydra-therapy gel cream does more than hydrate my skin. It provides a nice base for my make up products. I could really do without wearing make up as my skin tone is clear and bright. This product will be on my morning regimen as it works beautifully with my skin.

Love it! Amazing!
My first use for this cream was amazing. I woke up and my dry skin started peeling which is awesome! Ive tried every cream to get rid of the dry skin. Its amazing how after just one use overnight it cleared my dry skin. It wasnt patchy. It made my skin equal. Since then, i have used this every night. Im very thankful!

I have noticed a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles in just 3 days. I'm very impressed. Formula feels a little greasy at first but then is quickly absorbed. My crows feet are really what have shown the greatest improvement and that is a blessing. A little goes a long way and the container is huge! Great product!

Does this product contain SPF? I am looking for a moisturizer with the benefits described but would also like some kind of protection from the sun without using another product...
No, only products that mention an SPF in the name contain SPF. We have the Firmarine Moisturizer SPF 30, and Phelityl Day Lotion SPF 15.

The product suppose to be clean , but I noticed it contained fragrance and it’s not listed as last ingredient in fact it’s somewhere in the middle.. isn’t fragrance irritating for skin and especially if used daily over time ?

Related to the fragrance question, Erno Laszlo abides in the standards and practices of the International Fragrance Association [IFRA]. The organization’s fundamental objective is to determine fragrance ingredients are safe.
Fragrances are capable of eliciting allergic reactions in some individuals. Within the ingredient list, we identify the fragrance allergens for the consumer. As part of our clean program initiative, we are reducing our fragrance level in our products to comply with the efforts from Sephora for clean product forms. In addition, Erno Laszlo has initiated the Clean 2020 Program to remove materials and replace with safer ingredients.
We will have additional details on the ingredient changes, including our usage of fragrance by this fall.

Moisturizer should be the final step in your routine, as it helps seal in the other products like a finishing layer. This product does not have any anti-aging benefits, so if you are looking for that, you may prefer the Firmarine Moisturizer. This is a light, matte finish moisturizer instead. If you would prefer to change your routine, please contact advisor@ernolaszlo.com with details of your skin type, age, and concerns.

Can I layer this under the phelityl day lotion with the SPF? Or, use it on it's own? Can't wait to try either way.
You do not need to layer moisturizers, as they work best alone because they are the top, or final, layer. We recommend using it on it's own, AM or PM.
